The love of an enchanted young girl brings wonder and healing to a broken family. On the run from her mysterious past and guided by a fairy only she can see, Abby sparks a daisy chain of compassion. Closed hearts open as she brings joy and music back into the family. THE STORYTELLER can best be categorized as part of the cinematic genre, “Magical Realism.” It is a women centric, multi-generational film and is a fascinating exploration of reality and the true definition of family. It is lyrical, complex, gorgeous to look at and has a powerful emotional impact. The film is a truly visionary story about hope, love and compassion overcoming anger and fear. It is intellectually stimulating, with fully developed, evolving characters. Constance Towers (Rosemary) has worked in film and TV since the golden age of Hollywood and has played opposite John Wayne and co-starred with Yul Brynner on Broadway in THE KING AND I. Brooklyn Rae Silzer (Abby) has been a regular on the ABC daytime drama GENERAL HOSPITAL for 6 years and appeared on CRIMINAL MINDS, CODE BLACK and CSI. Samantha Colburn (Maggie) guest starred on CRIMINAL MINDS and NCIS and can be seen in the films BEST NIGHT EVER, CRAZY BITCHES. Cassidy Mack (Jen) starred in, ZOEY TO THE MAX and had featured TV roles on DR. KEN, NEUROTICA and MAKE YOUR MARK. James Snyder (John) starred on Broadway in IF/THEN, IN TRANSIT and played the Beast, in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Kristina Wagner (Dr. Gordon) is a 30 year veteran on the ABC daytime drama GENERAL HOSPITAL playing the role of “Felicia Jones.” Eden Espinosa (Carol) sung the starring roles in WICKED, RENT, EVITA and LIZZIE BORDEN. Joe Crump (Director, Co-Writer) is an Emmy Award nominated Director of the documentary, CHILDREN OF INTERNMENT.
